Forest Protection
Forest Protection and Conservation Workers are being hired to help in the implementation of the program and their main functions are as follows:
1. Conducts foot patrol to detect any illegal cutting, gathering and or transporting of timber and other forest product, forest destruction, slash and burn cultivation and help prevent the occurrence of forest fires.
2. Conducts tree planting.
3. Seed collection
4. Coordinates to different Barangay Officials, Schools and different agencies.
5. Apprehension of forest poachers and/or illegal loggers.
6. Conduct Information Education Campaign on forest protection and its importance.
